Heartbeat.

Another night of insomnia. Another withered attempt to fall asleep. The sky is growling with the shredded clouds. Deaf. It permeates with its deep blue. Darkness. Uneasy bed position. An everlasting torture. Uncontrollable. Suggestive. Teasing.

A remedy. An apple. A fruit of Eden garden. Perhaps, a sacred cure? Perhaps, the night will come to end? Perhaps, once and for all?

I eat an apple in hopes to fall asleep.

The moon is resting on the stubs of bitten apple hearts. The scraps, repeated fragments of the daunting nights. Dried leftovers scattered on a bedside table with their crooked rusty shapes, embellished with poisonous seeds.
